Enjoy multiple audio formats from a single, compact, easy-to-setup and simple-to-use compact stereo. Whether you're outfitting the rec room with an affordable system or looking for a way to listen to music in a dorm or bedroom, Teac's DC-D2831 delivers a 3-CD changer, a dual-well cassette deck with cassette-dubbing abilities, a digital FM/AM tuner, and even a turntable mounted in the top of the center unit so you or your kids can listen to new LPs or your existing library of vinyl. It's a belt-drive turntable with a DC servo motor and a ceramic stereo cartridge. It even comes with a 7-inch/45-rpm adapter for singles.
The system is driven by 15 watts per channel x 2, and its 2-way speakers each use a 5.25-inch cone woofer and a 2-inch tweeter. System functions include 20-track CD programming, 1-touch presets for your favorite radio stations (20 FM, 20 AM), and a host of equalization features to tailor the sound output to your taste or environment: a Bass Boost System (BBS) as well as 3 preset EQ curves (rock, pops, and classic).
There's a stereo analog auxiliary input (left/right RCA) for your MP3 player, DVD player, VCR, or whatnot, and the system includes a handy remote control. A front-panel headphone jack affords private listening.
